Deeksha Bhoomi is a well known place for attracting tourists from all over the world. Though the salient crowd that often visit the spot are of Buddhist origin and are from Buddhist countries, such as Thailand and Japan. The place is most crowded on Ashoka Vijaya Dashmi and the day of the conversion ceremony. Deeksha Bhoomi is a holy stop for the Buddhist crowd. This does not mean that it is not visited by the visitors of other religions. The place became of historical importance when on 14th of October 1956 Dr. BR Ambedkar along with 380000 other followers converted to Buddhism. The architecture and design of the stupa situated in Deeksha Bhoomi was inspired by the ancient Sanchi Stupa.

Ajab Bangla

The Ajab Bangla is mainly a museum that has been reputed as the central museum of Nagpur. It has a collection of a wide variety of articles that are of historical importance. These are- coins. Antiques, ancient inscription, prehistoric artefacts, and ancient & modern sculptures alike. Some of these ancient art facts belong to the Indus Valley Civilisation. The place though less visited for a wide extent of its existence has grown to be one of the favourites for old and young alike. The museum is located near Gorepath, Vasantrao Naik Slum area, close to the Institute of Science.

Kasturchand Park

The Park is the biggest park that can hold a huge number of people. It is mainly famous for the large number of gathering of people in the park on a regular basis. It is only at a distance of 1km from the Nagpur’s central railway station. The ground holds a number of trade shows and international fairs, throughout the year and is always buzzing with activity. The Ganesh Chaturthi festival held in the park is quite famous and marvelously attracts a lot of tourists. The park is situated just opposite to the Bank of India, Nagpur.

The VCA Stadium is a cricket ground for holding test matches. It was erected in the year 2008 and is relatively new in origin. In 2008 it was built to replace the old ground of VCA and was made the official stadium in Nagpur, spreading over a area of 33 acres. It is situated in civil lines, Nagpur, Maharashtra.

The Jama Masjid is the most well known and famous mosque in the region of Mominpur, Nagpur. The architecture comprises of a big dome in the very centre of the monument, along with two minars in the front and other two smaller minars at the back. Ambazari Lake

Pench Reservoir

The Pench reservoir is also known as the Kamthikhairy Dam. It is basically a dam that has been constructed over the Pench River in Nagpur and is considered a major tourist location. Khindsi Lake

The Lake is situated in Ramtek. Ramtek is a city popular for its lake and is always buzzing with tourist activity. The lake holds water sports that are well known across the country. Adivasi Gowari Shaheed Flyover

The fly over is the pride of Sita Buldi and is actually the longest flyover in Nagpur. It connects a number of important roads. It is close to Zero point where you can find the Adivasi Gowari Shaheed Smarak built in the memory of the people who dies there in an accident. It is located in Sita Buldi, Nagpur.
